Chris Firth - Director
Chris (Christmas) Firth started as a casual technician at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford back in 2003. Working through the ranks, then onto tours as ASM, Tech ASM, Tech Swing, Sound No2, Production carpenter, Technical manager, Tour manager and even a stint as Ringmaster for the Chinese Circus!
Following the touring years, Chris went into production management, working on various productions and events throughout the UK & Europe.
While his young children were being born and raised Chris took resident technical manager positions at the Victoria Theatre, Halifax and Leeds Town Hall & CarriageWorks Theatre.
Following on from this was the natural progression into the manufacturing side of the industry working for established production workshops, utilising his on the ground knowledge of the industry and contacts to bring new work to the companies and providing practical
solutions to builds.
There isn't much that he hasn't seen, or someone that he doesn't know or hasn't met, Chris prides himself on
keeping good relationships throughout his career and this has enabled him to build a varied and eclectic 'Black book' of contacts he can call on to assist on any type of
production.
Scaling back on the production management work, Chris is focused on the Creative Consulting as there is a genuine need for someone to bridge the gap between Production managers and the workshops, emphasising on pushing the Northern powerhouse of workshops and skills into the
industry to provide the very best productions for Producers and clients.

All the workshops and suppliers he works with are predominantly within an hours drive of our office, so ee can be on the ground quickly to check on any part of a build or production need. Having built relationships over many years and secured favourable pricing structures and discounts, he can provide costings for projects which will be hard to compete with, without compromising the end product.
